Translator- Saint James Institute

One of my responsibilities at Saint James Institute was translating official and non-official documents from Spanish to English. Because of confidentiality I am unable to share most of these documents. One project that I can share is this website for Pescanova- a Galician fishing company.

I was given 2 days to translate the items found on the website. Note that some of the news articles and downloaded documents were not translated by me, but rather were added to the website after I completed the initial translation.

Why create this blog you ask?

What an amazing journey 2011 has taken me on. In 2012 I have set several goals for myself (Not resolutions. Because lets face it, those are usually out the window by February). The most important goal is to start my career in public relations. I've been actively looking for and applying to jobs since I arrived back to the United States in July. In this economy, that isn't a long time (or so I'm told). So, I'm taking a new position on the job search. I've decided to market myself in a new way. That is what most PR jobs I've applied to ask for- online marketing of a product or service.
So let's give this a whirl. Put theory into practice. Here's to 2012 and my pursuit of happiness!
